Application:
a) Preparation coatings:
Apply one or two coatings of microcement base Kcberry with a steel trowel depending on the type of application base. The floor must always be applied with two coatings and a very flexible fiberglass mesh. Before applying a new coating, leave the previous one get dried, then a light sanding should be carried out with a random orbital sander at 40 or 80 grits to eliminate burrs.
b) Finishing coatings:
Apply one or two coatings of microcement fine Kcberry with a flexible rubber trowel. In case of wanting a stucco-effect, press firmly the trowel. To obtain a “burnt” finishing use a steel trowel.
Before applying a new coat, leave the previous one get dried, then a light sanding should be carried out with a random orbital sander or palm hand sander. The sand paper should have 120 or 220 grits depending on the time elapsed after the application of the material, to eliminate burrs. The sand paper grit will vary depending on the needs.
Do not exceed a thickness of 1 mm for each layer of Microfine and Microbase. The total application should be 1.5 to 3 mm thick.

Potlife:
The pot life is from 2 to 3 hours at about 20ºC.

Sealing:
Kcberry microcement should be sealed once it has hardened, between 24 and 48 hours. Never before the coating reaches a relative humidity inferior to 5%, checked by tools designed for this aim. In order to increase the beauty of the coating and to maintenance it, two coats of wax should be applied, the first one at the moment of the application and, the second one when it loses its original state.
Cleaning the tools:
Tools are cleaned with water, immediately after being used. Once the material hardens it will only be possible to be cleaned by mechanical means.

Security advice:
This product contains cement. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin, as well as smelling the powder. Low temperatures increase and high temperatures decrease considerably the time of workability and drying.

Packaging:
It is stored in 10 Kg and 20 kg buckets (Comp. A) and in 5 and 25 kg containers (Comp. B).Storage conditions:
Microcement Kcberry must be stored in its original containers closed and kept safe from the weather. The time for using it is 12 months since its fabrication date, in appropriate storage.
The product shall not be used for purposes different than those specified, without a written instruction of its use. It is always the user’s responsibility to take the proper measures to fulfill the legal conditions. The product security data is available for the professionals.
